Family & InterpersonalMediation.

Relationships make the world go round but they are hard work! Sometimes we find ourselves stuck.

Previous attempts to communicate well have failed. People are emotionally tired and caught up in repetitive patterns of behavior which spiral into arguments or stalemates. Whether you need to mop things up and then walk away, or find a feasible way to stay in each other’s lives, mediation can bring the clarity you need.

A skilled mediator is not a counselor, although healing and reconciliation may well happen as the mediation process unfolds.

Rather, a skilled mediator seeks to facilitate the parties finding their own solution or agreement. Time and time again this can and does happen even in the most toxic and embroiled situations. Being entirely neutral, an excellent listener, and having a big picture view, enable the mediator to help effectively.
