Working with your colleagues, your seniors and your juniors can be absolutely wonderful when things are going well and the sense of “team” is present and prioritized.

However, when people don’t keep their word, or don’t fulfill their obligations, or forget that we are human beings with human needs……things in the workplace can become very hostile. Or perhaps there is no open hostility, but you reach a dead-end each time you try to address something important with the relevant personnel. Going to the CCMA is expensive and time-consuming.

Enter mediation. This will give you a means to either part ways after resolving the practicalities, or continue to work together effectively after having reached an understanding of what is required in the future.
